How to sell on Temu UK

This guide is for UK businesses that already sell on Amazon, eBay or their own shop and want Temu as another channel. It goes in the order things happen, from registering and shipping to listing, titles, payouts and VAT.

1. Register as a seller

Temu's seller registration for the UK runs through Temu's own seller site, and Temu reviews every application. Have your business details ready before you start.

What is a Temu seller invitation code?

Temu's registration link can carry an invitation code that shows who referred you. Ours is already in the link above, so there is nothing to copy or type.

2. Set up shipping

As a UK local seller you ship your own orders. Postage, carriers and shipping templates are set up in Temu Seller Center, so do that before your first listing goes live.

3. List your products

Temu wants its own upload template for each category, so a listing file from eBay or Amazon cannot go straight in. Seller Spring Upload takes the export you already have, from eBay, Amazon, Shopify or WooCommerce, and turns it into Temu upload files, category by category. It shows the missing fields first, before Temu rejects the file.

4. Write titles that get found

Temu search reads your title and your images. A title can be up to 500 characters, but about 80 show in search results, so the words that say what the product is have to come first. Titled scores each title against Temu's rules and rewrites the weak ones. You can score a title free.

5. Know what you were paid, and your VAT

Temu's payments report includes pricing adjustments and platform subsidies, which makes it hard to see what you kept. Settled turns one Temu payments report into the figures for the nine boxes on your VAT return, with import files for Xero, QuickBooks and Sage 50. It prepares the figures. You file the return.
